Bonjour, I am Queen Co.Meadows, The Hoodoo Queen ™, the reigning queen of the Imperial Spiritual Court Milner-Meadows Des La Poud. I was raised in the traditions of Hoodoo, Obeah, and practices of The Creek and Arawak Tribes from the Queen and Elders of my family’s lineage for over 3 decades. Although I am an initiated Vodouisant, I was born, hereditarily anointed and gifted, by blood. In the African American community, the term “Gifted” was a title that range from many or any spiritual abilities. I was born anointed and gifted in Magic/Hoodoo as well as a Medium, Psychic, and Healer. The Imperial Court Milner-Meadows Des La Pound are a powerful line of anointed Hoodoo Workers, Seers, Healers, Mediums and Shamans in the African American Tradition of Hoodoo, the West Indie Tradition of Obeah and the Native Indigenous Practices of the Creek and Arawak Tribes here in the Southeast of America. This spiritual royal court is made up of my Ancestors that have provided the Americas spiritual work for at least 200 years in America alone.
I am the descendant of a prestige magical family and founding family here in the South; our Indigenous traditions have thrived for centuries. Owning towns and territories across the Southeast allowed our African and Caribbean traditions to be preserved and not lost or altered by my family. I have lived my entire life in Alabama, over 3 Decades, living in the tradition of Hoodoo, Obeah, Divination, and Indigenous Healing. At the age of 5 my gifts became clear, however it was the age of 8 where my training and instruction of these traditional remedies, rituals, workings, and fix’ins were heavily enforced. I was amazed by the rituals and gifts I witnessed in my family as a child, and I knew there was something very special about my family. However, I had no idea of the crown that would soon be laid upon my head as the successor of this American Royal Spiritual Lineage. I was blessed to be born into a family that was destined to be used in divine service for manifesting the needs and wants of our community.
By age eight, I was reading and spiritually advising adults in my community. By junior high school, I was spiritually working for my community. And by the age of 30, I had fully committed myself to my purpose and role as Queen Co.Meadows; The Hoodoo Queen, the owner of Co.Meadows Conjure, Conjure South and the annual Southeast Hoodoo Southeast Event known as The Hoodoo Queen Conjure Fete™. This has made the Milner-Meadows Des La Pound Family and Court proud. As Queen of this court our grand purpose is to restore the respect and honor to these traditions and the people of these traditions. The Imperial Court Milner-Meadow Des La Pound, expresses the importance of building and encouraging the people of today. Encouraging each of us to look into their blood lineage and discover the power and strength of the ancestors that run with in each us. The beauty and power of traditions are in preserving the old customs, and not in modifying and conforming in modern trends.
Best known as the The Hoodoo Queen ™ on social media, I am recognized as a leading force in Traditional African American Folk practices, healing, and traditions. I currently provide my divination and spiritual work (Hoodoo/obeah/spellwork) services by phone, in person locally and regionally. My magical services and magical education to the community reaches to international levels by creating and investing in online options and brick and mortar business’s that provides education, tools, events and services for the rapidly growing African and Indigenous Spiritual Community. My court and I work passionately in the preservation of these folk practices and traditions; also by investing in aspiring African and Indigenous Spiritual Entrepreneurs and Student across the globe.
